The moTwin platform is succeeding at the "unsexy" trade of helping businesses build custom enterprise applications on the back end, Kym McNicholas writes. Armed with its founder Stephane Perret's specialty of building a better global system for mobile, the company has gotten another round of funding to go up against competition that includes SAP's Sybase Unwired, Appcelerator and Antenna Software. "Too often enterprises underestimate the complexity of mobile projects. Over the past three years we saw large projects failing or delivering mobile solutions that didn't meet their user's expectations," moTwin CEO Claude Lemardeley says.
