School leaders tweet about common core, other topics

School superintendents increasingly are using Twitter to communicate what is happening in schools, and the first days of school have been no exception. Jim McIntyre, the superintendent of Knox County schools in Knoxville, Tenn., used the microblogging website to share information about the Common Core State Standards and praise his colleagues for standing together in support of the new standards.
