Solar flowers bloom in Seattle

Seattle is home to a bouquet of swaying, 40-foot-tall solar flowers. The five devices, created by a local artist, use photovoltaic panels to feed solar energy into the grid; they also glow in different colors and play music whenever anyone walks beneath them, creating "a dynamic and ever-changing sonic landscape."
