Wis. districts use Facebook, Twitter to keep followers informed

While some individual schools, student clubs and groups in Wisconsin have launched their own social media websites, a growing number of school districts now are looking to establish their own presence on sites, such as Facebook and Twitter. For those that already have their own accounts, officials say typical posts include information about upcoming events, sports photos and other material intended to keep the public better informed.
