Study finds weak ties between drug prices, economic conditions

An IHS study of 16 countries found only a slight connection between the prices of drugs and local economic conditions despite the adoption of advanced tiered pricing strategies. Researchers said the correlation between prices and changes in buying power parity was small and limited to treatments for large populations.
