Almost 30% of adults say they share prescription drugs

A CDC survey of more than 25,000 U.S. adults shows sharing prescription drugs with friends and family is fairly common, with 29% of women and 27% of men admitting they do it. Women ages 18 to 44 have the highest rates of drug sharing, with 37% of those surveyed saying they share, most often for allergy medicine and pain pills.
