Energy drinks are flexing their muscles, market research shows

The energy drink market has grown more than 400% since 2003, and is expected to show continued strength, according to Mintel. Thirty-five percent of teens now regularly consume energy drinks, up from 19% in 2003. Among adults, energy drink consumption has jumped from 9% percent to 15% in the same time period.
