Urban Outfitters growth will focus on new retail concepts

Urban Outfitters, parent of the Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Free People brands, recently reported a 79% rise in fiscal second-quarter net income despite an overall sluggish economy. The company's growth strategy includes opening 45 stores in its fiscal year ending Jan. 31, 2009, with a cap on locations for each division to avoid market saturation.
