ACLU: Online quizzes scrape private data

Quizzes are popular on social networks such as Facebook, where friends are constantly inviting one another to determine which "Simpsons" or "Sex and the City" character is most like them. But the ACLU is warning that those quizzes give the makers access to personal data from your profile as well as your friends'. The privacy watchdog is spreading its message through an awareness quiz of its own.
