"Customer-facing roles" will be among the first positions to be filled when the recession ends, according to the most recent Employment Dynamics and Growth Expectations Report from Robert Half International. Managers with hiring responsibilities place great importance upon customer service, the report found. After that, managers see sales, marketing, public relations and communications, business development, and accounting and finance positions as vital to the success of their organizations.
