HP tech to keep American fliers, crew updated on flight data

In a deal with American Airlines parent AMR, Hewlett-Packard will add technology that provides fliers and crew members with updates about their flights, reservations and other relevant information. The modular system, which the companies said would be introduced during the next four years, is designed to provide customers with information during emergencies as well as make it easier for crew members to assist passengers.
