July's international traffic numbers show recovery may be starting

After falling 7.2% in June, cross-border airline traffic declined by just 2.9% in July, signaling a "volatile and weak" recovery for commercial aviation, according to an international industry group. Figures show North American airlines are enjoying stronger recovery in passenger traffic than other parts of the world, perhaps due to fare cuts.
