Study finds overexposure to radiation from medical scans

Researchers said up to 4 million Americans a year may be exposed to high doses of radiation from medical scans, increasing their risk of cancer. The study found computed tomography and nuclear medicine scans accounted for about 75% of all radiation exposure.
