Boot camp teaches school lunch workers culinary skills

Santa Barbara, Calif., school lunch workers spent a week this summer at a culinary boot camp learning to create tasty food that comes in under budget and meets nutrition requirements. The camp is run by Cook for America founders Andrea Martin and Kate Adamick, who cover nutrition, time management, culinary math, knife skills, history of school food and menu planning.
