Employees take states to court over benefit changes

Some state and local government employees -- such as in Michigan and New Jersey -- are filing lawsuits against their employers, protesting laws that require them to assume more of their health care and pension costs. Critics say public workers still pay much less than private employees for benefits, and states can't meet their financial obligations under the current benefits structure.
