Agencies overestimated post-sequester furlough days

Federal employees have taken far fewer furlough days than many expected when the sequestration spending cuts first took effect. The Department of Defense initially planned 22 furlough days, but has only taken six, while the Federal Aviation Administration has taken only a single day, a dozen fewer than initially predicted.
