TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline is no longer critical in efforts to market Bakken Shale crude oil, said Harold Hamm, chairman and CEO of Continental Resources. "There are other ways. There are other people who want to build pipes and don't have to go across the border, and it doesn't have to involve bitumen from Canada," Hamm said. Hamm is particularly referring to Enbridge, which is making strides in its expansion of a North Dakota oil-transportation system.
