Colleges add standardized tests to their graduation requirements

Students at about 200 college nationwide will have to take a standardized test that seeks to give employers a better picture of these future employees. The Collegiate Learning Assessment Plus -- CLA+ -- will measure skills, such as analysis, problem solving and writing, according to the Council for Aid to Education, the New York-based nonprofit that developed the test.
