FirstNet general manager suggests regional construction of broadband network

FirstNet officials need to clearly state what the broadband network for first responders should look like and what the requirements will be for any bidders who want to be part of the construction, according to FirstNet general manager Bill D’Agostino. He said construction probably would be done regionally instead of a "winner-take-all" national approach, with areas possibly aligning with FEMA regions.
