N.J. school district develops math-enrichment program

Educators in Bernards Township schools in Basking Ridge, N.J., are developing a pilot math-enrichment program for advanced elementary-school students that is expected to include supplemental projects and tasks that require more independent work. The program was devised, in part, because of requests to expand gifted and talented education in the district's elementary schools.
