Philippine central bank is prepared to act as foreign capital exits

Philippine monetary authorities stand ready with a range of measures, including foreign-exchange liquidity and hedging facilities, to help the country weather capital outflows, said central bank Deputy Governor Diwa C. Guinigundo. He also noted the bank has room to adjust interest rates given a low-inflation environment.
