"Reverse innovation" yields device that can save infant lives in developing world

Incubators for premature babies may be too costly in many developing countries. But a new $3,000 baby warmer from GE Healthcare can help, writes Shilpa Kannan. The objective with the new device was to strip conventional incubators of all the unnecessary features that add cost, a process called "reverse innovation."
