Stop & Shop study prompts healthy recommendations

More than 40% of families say they depend on meals that are easy to prepare and nutritious, according to a Stop & Shop Supermarket survey of 500 customers. The study reveals that 88% of customers make quick meals, such as spaghetti, baked chicken and tacos, at least once a week. To boost the nutritional value of these meals, Stop & Shop suggests that customers substitute with healthier ingredients, such as whole-wheat pasta, black beans and whole grains.
