Study: Brands see value in multiple Twitter accounts

Sixty-three percent of brands maintain multiple Twitter profiles, up from 7% three years ago, according to a Brandwatch study. Some companies maintain dozens of accounts to streamline customer interactions. "Having different Twitter accounts makes a brand more human, as the customer knows it is a person on the other end and that they are specialists in resolving the problem you are facing," Brandwatch's Gina Horton wrote in a blog post.
