U.S. has room to boost safeguards against risk, FSB says

The U.S. could further improve financial-risk detection and prevention and better guard against systemic threat, according to a report by the Financial Stability Board. The report says the U.S. has improved but cites myriad state and federal regulators as evidence of a system that is too complex and fragmented.
