Bernanke calls for sharing the gains of free trade

Ben S. Bernanke, chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve, said the benefits of global trade must be shared widely if the world economy is to avoid protectionism. Bernanke, speaking at the Fed's annual retreat in Jackson Hole, Wyo., did not comment on interest rates or economic forecasts.
