Some of New York City's cocktail bars are more famous for their food menus than their creative mixtures. Snail-stuffed pancakes with fennel and nigella seeds, Pernod and spicy mayonnaise, and a hot dog with cream cheese, scallions and seasonings on an "everything" bagel are a couple of offerings.
