European institutes collaborate to advance cancer research

Three leading European cancer centers have teamed up to establish the European Comprehensive Cancer Center Alliance, an initiative that aims to improve cancer treatments and reduce their side effects. The ECCCA is set to conduct several clinical translational trials of cancer therapies that use MRI, CT, PET and PET/CT radiation methods and imaging techniques.
