Mexico plans seaport for U.S. trade traffic

Mexico is planning a $4 billion investment in Punta Colonet to transform the coastal Baja town into a bustling port. The seaport would handle 2 million containers initially by 2014, and eventually could divert traffic from California ports in Long Beach and Los Angeles. The port development will be privately funded.
