HP to help keep American Airlines' passengers, crew in the know

Hewlett-Packard will develop a Passenger Service System for AMR Corp., the parent company of American Airlines and American Eagle, that will help keep the airlines' crews and passengers updated on flight information. Jetstream, as the system is called, will support airline functions such as pricing, ticketing, reservations, flight information and check-in. "After extensive evaluation, we have decided to sign a letter of intent with HP to develop our new Passenger Service System, Jetstream," said AMR Chairman and CEO Gerard Arpey.
