TSA reaches 40% mark on stimulus spending

With Wednesday's announcement of 10 additional airports receiving inline screening equipment, TSA has now committed roughly 40% of its $1 billion stimulus windfall, according to Homeland Security Today. Reporter Mickey McCarter says prior to the $240 million baggage screening award, TSA had been slow to spend its funds received under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
