Maintaining work-life balance throughout the school year

As the school year begins, teacher Ariel Sacks is pledging to take better care of herself this year and get more sleep. She writes that as the school year progresses the workload will increase and she will get less sleep, causing her to become rundown and irritable. To improve her quality of life -- and the quality of her teaching -- Sacks writes that she will work to get more rest, even when that seems impossible.
