Phentermine-topiramate combo improves quality of life in obese

Data from two Phase III trials revealed that a combination of phentermine and topiramate drugs fared better than a placebo in improving weight-related quality of life in overweight and obese participants. Improvements on life quality also coincided with the amount of weight that participants lost, the researchers said. The findings were presented at the annual meeting of the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
