Flu shot is not linked to serious birth defects in study

A study of almost 9,000 pregnant women who had a flu shot showed that the vaccine is not tied to a higher risk of serious birth defects and was linked to a slightly lower risk of stillbirth. The findings appear in the journal Obstetrics & Gynecology.
