AGC to review legal options on new labor rules to protect contractors

The Labor Department's hiring rules for veterans and disabled persons bring "oppressive" requirements to federal contractors, according to Steven Sandherr, CEO of the Associated General Contractors of America. The trade group supports diversity, and Sandherr says AGC members have been working to achieve these goals long before the Labor Department developed these rules. The AGC "will closely review all appropriate legal options available" so that contractors are protected from these unwarranted rules.
