Conn. medical-marijuana producers may have to post $2M in escrow, LOC or bond

New regulations governing medical marijuana in Connecticut include a provision that calls for producers to post $2 million in a surety bond, letter of credit or escrow account if requested to do so by the state's consumer-protection commissioner. State officials are seeking to attract three to 10 businesses as providers of medical marijuana.
