Facebook publishes report on government data requests

Facebook received data requests concerning 38,000 users from 74 different governments in the first six months of 2013, according to the social network's first full report on such requests. The U.S. was the most active government, requesting data on about 20,000 accounts, and having its requests granted about 80% of the time.
