Families drive uptick in country club memberships

Country club membership sales are on the rise as clubs transform offerings to attract more families via movie nights, couples events and other family programs. “Families and the younger generation are the two primary targets at most private clubs right now,” says Kathi Driggs, chief operating officer of the Club Managers Association of America. "There’s a whole transformation going on with clubs as they work to stay competitive."
