Fusion goes on hiring spree ahead of October debut

Fusion, the joint English-language cable network from Univision and ABC, is recruiting hundreds of workers ahead of its October launch. Fusion is pitching its content at a younger demographic, by offering news with a humorous perspective similar to "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and "The Colbert Report." "The focus of Fusion is news through the eyes of a Hispanic in the United States," said Univision CEO Randy Falco.
