How golf courses bounce back after a natural disaster

Superintendent Ben Stover of Rumson Country Club in Rumson, N.J., is well versed in disaster preparedness and recovery from major storms after Hurricanes Irene and Sandy decimated the course, clubhouse and thousands of dollars worth of equipment in 2010 and 2012. Stover recommends taking photos of the property before a storm is projected to hit, renting water pumps and generators ahead of time, and encouraging staff to work as a team to get the club up and running.
