How massive open online games are changing learning

Researchers increasingly are looking for ways to harness the power of massive open online games in the classroom. Educators often have had to tailor popular games, such as World of Warcraft, to the classroom, but now researchers such as those at MIT's Education Arcade are developing new games, such as science and math game Radix, that are made specifically for the classroom.
