Men are just as likely to experience depressive symptoms as women

When both traditional and nontraditional depression symptoms were considered, a study found no substantial differences in depression rates between men and women. Men were more prone to symptoms such as aggressive behavior, substance abuse and risk-taking, researchers said. The findings were published in the journal JAMA Psychiatry.
