Oil and gold prices climb amid concerns about Syria

Fear that the U.S. will engage in military action in Syria has pushed up prices of oil and gold. Wednesday marked the second consecutive day of increase. Brent crude closed at $116.61 a barrel, up $2.25 from Tuesday, while gold reached $1,416.26 an ounce.
