Peruvian pepper purveyors prepare for U.S. sales

Groups representing Peru's pepper growers are hammering out the details of a deal with the Food and Drug Administration that would allow them to start exporting their produce to the U.S. in 2015. Growers are also experimenting with growing methods that prevent pests and diseases, which can bar the peppers from U.S. entry, without overuse of pesticides that leave residues.
