Report highlights what works in transition planning

A report by the federally funded What Works Clearinghouse reveals that programs with potentially positive effects on transition outcomes for students with disabilities include community-based work programs and functional life-skills development programs. The authors of the report noted there is a lack of research on transition programs, but added the review highlights some promising practices.
