A recent report by Cordea Savills found that satellite warehouses near prime urban locations in Europe offer huge opportunities for property investors who plan to tap into the e-commerce market. "Demand for small satellite warehouses at the edge of major urban locations is growing particularly strongly owing to tight supply and the need to deliver to more and varied destination points, overcoming the 'last mile' problem. They do offer some of the best risk-adjusted returns that we are seeing," said Cordea Savills research analyst Jim Garland.
