Local Motion, a company that is designed to help organizations manage their vehicle fleets, has brought in $6 million in investment. The startup produces devices that can be installed in vehicles to gather information about their use. Smartphone users can find available vehicles and reserve them as needed. "After a couple of months, we can help organizations remove 30 percent of their fleets thanks to our sharing technology," said Clement Gires, the company's co-founder.
