Survey: Generations X and Y want the old-fashioned touch

Generation X and Y investors may be more old-school than advisors think, according to research by corporate anthropologist Andrea Simon. Individuals ages 35 to 50 said they wanted personalized service and individualized money-management guidance from banks, she says. Advisors trying to woo these individuals as clients should combine personal service with high-tech tools for best results.
