Tata works with colleges to churn out engineering talent

Tata Consultancy Services hired 70,000 people last year and has 280,000 employees worldwide. It maintains its recruiting pace by evaluating colleges for talent and working directly with professors to educate them on emerging technology trends so that students are up to speed when they graduate, Heng Shao writes. Tata makes 85% of its hires from India.
