Tenn. schools, industry team up for career-planning initiative

Educators and employers in southeastern Tennessee are working together to help students identify career interests and provide real-world opportunities to explore those interests through the Pathways to Prosperity Initiative. Career education could begin as early as elementary school in some cases. A key goal of the program is to create technical-education programs that match the needs of local industries.
